FULMER
FAMILY FUN DAY & VE ANNIVERSARY
5TH MAY
2025
This year, the village took the opportunity to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day at our traditional family fun day event. All residents of Fulmer were invited to come along and enjoy the day, together with friends and families from our neighbouring villages of Stoke Poges, Iver Heath, Hedgerley, Farnham Common, George Green and beyond.
Without the support of our volunteers it could never take place. But it did so magnificently this year, and the magic began when four RAF Tornado fighter jets flew right over the field on their way back to base following the celebrations at Buckingham Palace! This kicked off our celebrations of the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in style.
The choir from Fulmer Infants School received huge rounds of applause when they gave a fabulous performance of World War 2 era songs. Exhibits featuring aspects and memorabilia from World War 2 were enjoyed by all of our visitors as well as our volunteers.
A huge thank you to the organisers:
Linda McKenzie, Geoff Pocock and Ian Finan who made this all happen.

FULMER FAMILY FIREWORKS NIGHT 2022
This is one of KGFF’s biggest annual events and attracts between 600-800 people from the local community. It is usually held on the first Friday of November to coincide with Guy Fawkes Night. Besides an incredible Fireworks Display, Stilt Walkers and Fire Performers are on show to entertain visitors. A live band provides the music and gets everone into the beat. In 2022 our band Remedy featured Jack Manders, West End School of Rock Drummer and a young drummer of the year finalist. Besides great music, food from the BBQ and Pizza Oven keep energy levels up with cakes, candy floss and sweets for the youngsters. There are two bars, inside the Pavilion and outside, with plenty to drink for thirsty throats. The Raffle prizes range from Champagne to Yoga classes at The Studio. It is a brilliant event and a firm fixture in the Fulmer social calendar.
