​This year, the village took the opportunity to celebrate the 80th Anniversary of VE Day at our traditional family fun day event. All residents of Fulmer were invited to come along and enjoy the day, together with friends and families from our neighbouring villages of Stoke Poges, Iver Heath, Hedgerley, Farnham Common, George Green and beyond.

Without the support of our volunteers it could never take place. But it did so magnificently this year, and the magic began when four RAF Tornado fighter jets flew right over the field on their way back to base following the celebrations at Buckingham Palace! This kicked off our celebrations of the 80th Anniversary of VE Day in style. 

The choir from Fulmer Infants School received huge rounds of applause when they gave a fabulous performance of World War 2 era songs.  Exhibits featuring aspects and memorabilia from World War 2 were enjoyed by all of our visitors as well as our volunteers.
